Here in Alaska there is a FEMA camp that was an old (maybe mining) facility way up in the center of the state. Very remote. It is not too far from Healy where coal is mined and freighted out by railroad. My pal that works a freight crew sez it is fully stocked and staffed to accomodate 1 million. He asked a staffer they "whistle stop" dropped with a flat of Costco groceries who was being picked up by other staff. Since our entire population is just over 600K we always wonder...
