Kid Rock Helps Trump in 2024 Race by Popularizing: "A vote for Trump is a vote for no tax on tips"
MAGA supporters deliver messages on restaurant receipts.
“A vote for Trump is a vote for no tax on tips!” is a message delivered to waiters and bartenders by supporters of the front runner for the 2024 bid for the White House, Donald J. Trump.
Famous musician and bar owner Kid Rock has helped popularize the move by posting a photo of the handwritten message he wrote on a check at the restaurant Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse on X (Kid Rock X Post).
As a bar owner, and having spoke to a few other bar / restaurant owners, this is HUGE! Most small buisness’s have all had challenges in staffing. This will solve so many problems for so many hard working Americans! Trump is a genius and for the working class! Biden is straight Hollywood! Happy Fathers Day - Kid Rock
Kid Rock posted the photo alongside a video of Trump talking about his intention to stop taxing tips, “No more taxes on tips! None!”
In the video, Trump recounts the story of Kid Rock sending him a photo of the message written on a receipt from a restaurant, which presumably is the same photo Trump talks about receiving from Kid Rock in the video.
In the comments on the X post, scores of people display similar messages they have been writing on receipts.
Here’s one if several posts.
And another.
And another.
And another.
How many messages like these will be written on checks for the benefit of wait-staff?
And how many on-the-fence voters will be influenced by the campaign?
Please tell me what you think or let me know if I got something wrong. I want to hear from you.
Much love,
