Trump Could go to Jail: Kash Patel on Trump's Legal Strategy for July 11th
Trump could go to jail.
At the ReAwaken America Tour in Detroit, Kash Patel revealed his proposed strategy for Trump in the upcoming July 11th sentencing.
Patel also spoke about how Trump is doing mentally and emotionally after the bogus conviction.
Patel says that normally one wouldn’t appeal directly to the Supreme Court but given the unprecedented situation at hand, that’s what he is publicly recommending.
Let’s take a listen.
Trump has accused Merchan of “MAKING BIG MONEY OFF OF THIS SCAM AND ITS OUTCOME,” in a Truth Social post from May 14th. Presumably, Patel is referring to this statement, and possibly the media appearances and book deals Merchan could secure for himself if he goes down in history as the judge who took Trump out.

Patel has suggested that Trump appeal directly to the SCOTUS due to the fact that the New York judicial system is compromised and unable to deliver a fair verdict or court proceeding to adjudicate Trump.
Recall that in 2022, New York passed the Adult Survivors Act, which created a one-year lookback period during which adult victims of alleged sexual offenses could file civil suits against perpetrators regardless of whether the standard statute of limitations had already passed. This allowed Carroll to pursue her civil lawsuit against Trump for sexual abuse allegations that occurred nearly two decades prior. Despite what may be the most glaring example of judicial bias, Carroll was able to pursue her civil lawsuit against Trump. The Adult Survivors Act was not passed with the intention of targeting Trump, but rather to provide a window for victims of sexual assault to seek justice—this is the official story anyway.
It can reasonably be argued that the “adjustments” to the legal rules to allow E. Jean Carroll to go through were an example of ex post facto law, which refers to the principle that prohibits retroactive legislation, meaning that a law cannot be enacted to change the legal consequences of actions committed before the law's enactment. In the eyes of many, the legal situation with Trump’s recent trials is a clear cut case of lawfare, and this fact, regardless of the media spin, will not go unnoticed by the general population.
Finally, Patel suggests that Judge Merchan might put Trump in jail. If this occurs, the support for Trump, which is already meteoric in stature, will climb to heights that even the deep state captured media likely can’t mitigate.
